In the year 2000, Manuel Lazaro aka BL1TZ, starts to be interested in music production, focused on the production of electronic music influenced mostly by a video game called “Wipeout”, game which contained large dose of electronic music.
Since 2001 starts producing under the pseudonym “The Legacy”, along with a friend, a project with which granted hearings on the radio program “End of the Millennium Dance Trax” in Canal Fiesta Radio (Spain). In late 2001 began producing on his own with his current pseudonym “BL1TZ”, influenced especially Breakbeat music coming from the United States by producers like DAVE LONDON, DJ ICEY or HUDA HUDIA, along with the electronic scene began to emerge in southern Spain.
He has worked with a multitude of record labels both national and outside our country, working with artists coming pop/national like CYCLE (Subterfuge Records), CULTURE KULTÜR, ANIMA POP, CIGRONES… and artists in the spanish electronic music scene like KULTÜR, CUERVO & DEZIBELIO, SASSER, THEC4, FORUFREEZER… At the international level has not been left behind, remixing artists like MICRONAUT (USA), DIGIBOX (United Kingdom), PARALLAX BREAKZ (Ukraine), ALTERFORM (Russia), DJ HOOK (Italy), STEVE MACCABE & SYSTEM 2 (United Kingdom), IRE (Austria), and many more to come…
BL1TZ originals has been remixed by EK (Australia), MartOpetEr (France), KWeRK (UK), MACHO (Slovakia), PERPETUAL PRESENT (UK), DIGIBOX (UK), EZ BREAKS (Romania), JOURNEYMAN and BARRCODE (UK).
He has also published a unofficial vinyl, a remix of COLDPLAY’s “Viva la Vida” on the pirate breaks label Party Style (UK), reaching nearly sold 500 copies between global underground scene.
He works frequently with the labels Very Important Music (Greece), In Bloom Recordings (UK) and Diablo Loco (Greece)
